it's been awhile since i took the cobra apart and honestly dont remember any vacum lines going into the firewall for heater controls. this is a non a/c car. are the controls just manual/cable operated to control the door from floor to defrost?

On my 84 with ac. The vac lines were cut underneath the glove box. I think 4 lines total. Then one vac line ran up behind the speedo. I "think" (and its a big guess) that the doors are controled by vac. There was 2 diaphrams as well on up by speedo and one by glove box.
Probably no help but its what I had to fix.
Non-A/C cars have entirely cable-operated controls. 3 cables. No vacuum.
Cheers,
Jeff Cook
