Default Got some buck tag pics at the junk yard

I had my phone with me on my trip to the junk yard so I grabbed some buck tag pics. Needless to say these are all salvage cars. Some of the cars didn't have a buck tag so I got the vin or door tag.

Cool, I do this too. I suggest maybe taking pictures of the whole car too. I would like to see them, kinda have a collection of pictures going. Thanks.

Got you covered. These are older pics, but most of these cars are still there. We had a flood a few months ago and it got to most of the cars because this salvage yard is on the bank of the Arkansas river. It's ok with me cause most of the parts I need aren't affected by water. But yea, so many 4 eyes.

Looks like it's not too far from Shreveport. If it's in Fort Smith that is. Where is the yard?

Crazy thing, when I started junkyard hopping, this was the norm 25 years ago. Took it all for granted. This is cool for sure.

It's R&S auto salvage in Moffett, OK. It's right across the river from Fort Smith. They don't keep the older cars like these in the inventory so I just tell them I wanna pick some parts from the Fairmonts by the river, and they let me go back and have free range on the 4 eyes. And I usually get nice prices on the stuff. Like a couple of weeks ago I got a pretty nice dash pad for $10. Just a couple of small cracks in the speaker grilles. They've been instrumental in the revival of my Zephyr. It would've been far more difficult without this yard.
