Default J/Y car that is odd

Fox, saw this car at a junkyard today and it is advertised as an 86 but I'm not sure it really is. Hopefully you can decipher with the limited information.

Here's what's weird....the car has a 2.3 carbed with a 4 speed tranny. The dash has a twin post, premium sound cassette player in it.

The non-turbo 4-cyl was still carbureted in 1986. It was the only Capri/Mustang engine that was that year.

Guess I still have a lot to learn! Thanks Fox. Out of curiosity...is the dash the same as an older model? This one has no issues and still has a double post radio. Attachment 99289

Let me rephrase that. Is the radio opening the same as the 2 post radio or is it closer to the later model?
