I met up with Chris when he was living here in Richmond. He was a great guy and we swapped parts and info about our '85 convertibles. The heads on my '85 were from him. Remember, life is precious and circumstances can change suddenly for any of us. Cancer has done a job around my friends and family the past couple of years. Not a post anyone wants to make but I know Chris (85Vert) has been part of this board for quite some time, a trusted Sponsor (tireteam) and a good friend to the FEP community.
Chris Doughtie has passed away on June 16th, 2011 at the young age of 44 years.
He unfortunately found out he had pancreatic cancer which we all know doesn't have a high recovery rate and Chris wasn't able to beat this one
I have spoken with his wife, she and their daughter are doing the best they can do with this tremendous loss.
You will be missed Chris, thoughts and prayers are with you, your wife and 5yr old daughter.
RIP from your fellow Four Eyed Family.
