If possible, I would like to change my name to yugo4life. The whole nitrous is for girls thing was made almost 10 years ago for the first forum I joined. I am no longer the same person I was then. I could die a happy man if I had a few choice fox cars and one yugo gvx.

    Thank you,
    Tim

Thank you! I have recently been a bit embarrassed by the old name. Seemed kind of childish and since we may be having our second child this week, I thought it was a good time to grow up.

I think I would be more embarrassed about driving the Yugo.

Haha...yeah, that is a pretty common response, but driving a yugo is like driving a go kart on the street. It is seriously fun. As bad as a reputation they have, mine only left me stranded one time in the year it was my daily driver and that was mainly because I was trying to get by with a bad alternator for a week. Lowered a bit with the toe adjusted out made for an awesome handler. My two dream daily drivers are a yugo with a modded 1.5 out of an x 1/9 and my old black on black 79 turbo rs. I would rock those anytime!

A friend of mine had one when we were in high school. He worked at walmart, one day when he was at work a couple of us put it in a cart return. Good times.

6 months ago, I saw a Yugo for sale - 3,000 miles all original - $3,995 was the price.

    Cool piece of history.
