    Default Svo colors

    Hi all I have a factory white svo seems to be am 84 by the type of intake it has. But the rear end is a 3.73 rear ratio. The doors were changed by the previous owner so am not sure what it is. Any help would be apreciated.

    The VIN plate at the base of the windshield on the driver-side has the model year in it. It's the 10th character.

    1FABP28T_EF______ = 1984 SVO
    1FABP28T_FF______ = 1985 SVO
    1FABP28T_GF______ = 1986 SVO

    The 11th character is always "F" (Dearborn Assembly) so don't get it confused with an F for 1985.

    There was only one white / 9L SVO in 84 and that is the Mac Tools race car. In 84 the rear gear is 345s and 85 to 86 they're 373s.

    Not an 84.

    All 84s & 85s used the inline intake. Ford changed it to the "square" with 85.5 & 86 of course.
