26 years later 85 Predator/Twister2 returns to its birthplace at Solomon America headquarters in Topeka, KS. This is the building where the Solomon America warehouse was located. I have included some old pictures that were take when Predators were brand new with the building in the background this building is still in existence today. I decide to bring my car there to take as many pictures as I can before it gets too cold. I was a little disappointed, after an hour drive to get there the pass side quarter window glass wouldn't come down when the top and windows were put down for pictures at the old Solomon building. But I didn't let that stop me, went ahead and took a lot of pictures. I wish the old Solomon America sign was still there on the building, I bet the sign was long gone in '86 or so! Enjoy!

What a huge building! My car looks so tiny in this picture! It would be very cool to see an old picture of all the Predators in line when they were being built inside the building.

Cool shots Dan! Your car looks great.
Really nice pictures...the red door with the red accents on the car and everything else somewhat black and white turned out fantastic. I especially like the picture where the back ground was black and whited! Did you get any pictures of the inside of the car?

Thank you. I did not took picture of interior that much. Predators interior is not much different between GT. Predators have roll bar, GT302 emblem on pass side dash panel. And walnut shift knob. Some got 140 mph speedometer. That is it. I have some interitor pictures in this thread page 2.

Thank you everyone!
Here is an answer we just got from Orlando. What exactly happened with Solomon? He said that Solomon did not like EFI because he couldn't do ram air, and couldn't do cams and things like that that he liked doing. So he only built 27 (I think) cars in '86, didn't really care for them, and decided that it wasn't worth building them anymore.
figured i would post in this thread to update it. As of 9/2/2013 I am the proud new owner of this car. Thanks Dan for doing such a great job on the body and paint.

On the picture of the engine, what are the two connections on the back of the intake manifold? One is electrical (gray and red), the other looks like vacuum connections (green). These are not connected in my car and have actually been cut off by the previous owner.
Thanks.
