Its been for sale ever since I came back from Oklahoma with the other predator but never had the funds since I bought mine and then got laid off last year. Job situation is good now and I decided to go take a look at it and couldn't pass it up. Floors are worse than on 149 and its missing one 8-spoke wheel but scoop badges and walnut shift knob are there as well as a complete drivetrain so its a better start IMO. and it will be nice to have a template to work off of once I get back to 149.

82ttops had posted the Buck Tag from that car almost 5 years ago...

    http://vb.foureyedpride.com/showthread.php?t=34845

Does the car still wear its Buck Tag, and can you take a pic of it if it?

Think the Build Sheet might still be in there somewhere?

Did you get the original seats with the car? Going to be somewhat hard to find if you didn't. Those Canyon Red cloth Sport Performance seats were only used for the first half of that year.

    FoxChassis,
The buck tag is still there but it doesn't look like its ever been touched. None of the screws have any marks... good job by 82ttops for removing it cleanly and putting it back.

If the build sheet there it isn't going to be in good shape... the rust in the floor is horrific. With the issues I've had with 149 with rust you'd think I'd run screaming...but I didn't. That and I'm missing one 8-spoke wheel...

Anyone have a spare they want to send my way?

There were no front seats (again). Do you have an example of those seats? I may have to buy a different color and get them recovered...

The '84 Sport Performance seats were just like the same seats in '83 but without netting in the halo headrest.

See the Turbo GT in this thread for what your 4S0130 seats should look like:

Congrats! What will you be doing with twin Predators? JK

I don't understand why the VC on door DSO from KC and Solomon tag show Topeka, KS and 0130 last number is even number which is from Dallas. Can some one chime in and explain this?

My understanding was that was not an absolute. It was a system they tried to follow, but there were some that didn't stick to that sequence.

There's not as much to do with 130 as there is with 149 so ill be able to have it running sooner. And since 130 is a Predator versus a Predator Cobra the 149 is, I will keep all the important bits to fully restore 149 and resto-mod 130 and work ok having some of the badges reproduced. Being aluminum it might not be a stretch to have them made. Since I only have 3 original wheels on 130 I might go the 5-lug swap direction and upgrade the wheels.

IF there was a build sheet to be found at all, the two most common places seem to be 1) laying on the floor, under the carpet, under or behind the driver seat and 2) taped to the back side of one of the interior quarter panels plastics.

Can you take a pic of the Buck Tag from 4S0130?

Do you have a VC Label, or Buck Tag, or Build Sheet from 4S0149?

Great buy! I remember seeing this car about 8 years ago with all four original wheels and the original seats. Maybe the previous owner(s) still have them.......

Thanks for chime in. I guess 4S 0102 was built in Topeka because of DSO on VC from KC too.

I would love to have it! I'd much rather keep the look original if at all possible. PM me a price with shipping to 77388. Thanks!

I'll have to get the buck tag later. The wife has requested my mother's day present to her is I don't touch the car...

And as for 149... you've already decoded it for me.

A bit of news on the Predator front... I have been in contact with the third (or fourth, he's not sure) owner of the car. He might be stopping by this week to verify it was the car he owned and will probably cry when he sees how she's been treated...

Hopefully I will have updated pics by the end of the week as well!

Well my subdivision's HOA didn't like the Predator sitting out in the driveway so I had to make room for her in the garage. Not the easiest thing to do when there's no steering attached to the wheels...

So now what do I do with the stuff that went IN the garage???
