Brian, I think I'm in! I'll let you know early in the week but if the weather is good, I should be able to do it.

    Great, sounds good guys!

For now, let's plan on meeting at Friendly's in Middleboro at the rotary. Does 4:45-5:00 work for everyone or is that too early? All I know is Mustang Alley seems to fill up pretty early there.

I hope you're driving it now Jeff!

It would be funny to see if they parked a Capri in Mustang Alley. If they know anything about cars, I can't see how they wouldn't.

It's looking like the weather is going to be good this week too. Provided my new project doesn't show up that day and I can find someone to walk my dog I may make it down.

It's OK Jeff you can go I'm out. Couldn't find anyone close by to walk the man eating mutt. So I'm going to go pull a pedal setup from a parts car for my 5 speed swap on the new project tomorrow night. I will make one of these later in the summer for sure though.

I know but it's not looking good for me this week. Too much to do, nobody to walk the pooch and I've really got to go get those pedals. Car's coming in early next week and it's the last major piece of the puzzle. But I will be driving my car tomorrow so if I can get the dog out I'll probably be there.

    Brian,

I'll be at Friendly's at 4:45-5:00. Chris (Varn82) do you think you can meet up with us at that time? Jeff (Capriman86), which way do you go to Bass Pro? I was hoping that we could meet up with you and Kristen and all of us go in together. What do you think?

As much as I hate to say it.

    I'm out.

Went to back it out to do some more cleaning for tomorrow and it's ****ing dead, again.

Its covered and staying covered until I don't want to hit it with a ball peen hammer.

Sorry guys....I really wanted to start enjoying this car again and it just won't let me.

    Sorry to hear Jeff....

Remember it hasn't been running in a long time so some issues are to be expected. Just put it away until it beckons you again, rather than staying angry. You still have that award winning GT don't forget!

Bring the Mustang tomorrow if you can!

    Pete,

There is a chance I may have to work late tomorrow. We have a lot of obligations to meet before the weekend due to the short work week next week. I'll give you a call tomorrow around lunch time, I should know when I'll be done working buy then.

I may meet you at Friendlys and jump in and ride with you if you're solo and don't mind a passenger. My 2011 has an issue (ordered a 100 AMP fuse from Ford that I blew the other day when I was pulling a spark plug and touched the telescoping magnet to the positive battery terminal), and it's blocking my '86 in the garage.

Sure, no problem. You can ride with me if you want. If you can't go, I understand. My uncle may be meeting us with his '65 but he said that if he's not there by 5:00, leave without him.

    Jeff,

Could it be going dead from the memory in the stereo? I know that mine goes dead if I don't use it for two weeks or so and then I have to jump it. If I'm using it a couple of times per week, it's fine.

    I wish you were going.

Wish I was done with issues, the 88GT has a skip / hesitation /sputter that I need to find so that has been sitting as well.

With the capri, there is something that majorly draws on the battery as to kill it overnight. I was fine since I replaced the battery, but something is in that right spot to kill it now. What? hell if I know. Covered it up and went up stairs.

I just want to use the ****ing car, so sick of this, just when I thought I was getting close it kick me back down yet again.

I will mow the lawn tonight, see if that starts.

Sorry to hear that Jeff. Why don't you get a quick disconnect battery terminal for now? At least until you figure out what the problem is so it don't keep going dead.

Very good to finally meet you Steve! That 83GT is awesome and really clean!

Such a great turnout tonight and I've never seen anything like it there.

    Pete and Brian,

It was good to see you both. Too bad it's really hard to talk over there since there are so many people, but the Cobra looked awesome as always! It definitely still stood out in all those cars.
