I'll be on the lookout for another one, but I wouldn't mind a digital copy either.

I saw one of these manuals up for auction on eBay. It's been sitting there for some time and I've been hanging over it, mainly due to the price on it - 68.00. It disappeared abruptly a couple of weeks ago, so I promised myself that if another one popped up, I would pounce on it. It did, through the same seller and for the same price. It might not have been a cheap price, but it isn't going to come between me and poverty, so I bought it.

I just received it in the mail today and I've been pouring over it all evening. This book may not be thick, but it is quite a gold mine of information, diagrams, procedures, etc. This is exactly what I needed to fill in the gap of information where my car is concerned. I know that I probably could've waited for someone to scan their copy, but that has been forthcoming for some time now without any results to date. If I had access to a scanner, then I know what I'd be doing over the weekend, but sadly, I don't. Hopefully, someone who does will come forth with a digital copy so everyone could benefit from it.

I did check this against the Sticky in this part of the forum where a digital copy of the 1.6/2.3 Turbo manual that FEP hosts is available for download. A lot of the same diagrams are in this manual, but the text contains so much more detail in this one.

I have the files ready to upload but the library is messed up right now. It won't show the thumbnails or small images when you click on them. Only the larger images show.

If someone needs a specific item or has a question, I will be happy to look in mine. I can post a page or 2. Just don't have time to do the whole thing and they are working on it anyway.

Is there going to be an option available to just download the PDF file? Nothing against the library plan, but most times interfaces like that make it a pain to change from one page to another quickly. It'd be really easy to upload the PDF to an online host, so that anyone who wanted a copy could just download the PDF.

Thanks for the upload and hosting! That's awesome. Is it really only 80 pages? From the prices on Ebay for those things, you'd think they were 3" thick. I'm glad it's hosted here so we don't have to pay collector prices to maintain our cars.

Added the PDF file created by baltimucho to my Website. Also renamed the original JPG ZIP. Both new links are in my edited post above.

When ever I told someone I have a 1984 Mustang GT with a 2.3 turbo, almost everyone (that knows a bit about cars) said "oh, you have an SVO?" So, now I just say I have a 1984 Mustang with a 2.3 turbo.....its "not an SVO".

That username might not get me very far on the SVO sites.
