Car alarms, Watcha's all using?

I forgot to add that my '89 LX doesn't have an alarm system but it will not start unless you activate the left turn signal. It was like that when I bought it and I'm not sure why. Someone obviously wired it like that for a reason and my friend who I bought it from thinks that it had a LoJack system in it at one point because it was like that when he bought it before me.

i have a two way paging code alarm system i installed myself. i like it. just my 2 way remote kills the single triple a battery in about 3-4 weeks. meh.

Manual steering, a 5 speed and a spool. Car sucks to drive. Even if stolen, it would make it to the end of the street, the thief would get disgusted and leave it there. Also a good insurance policy is a Holley carb. My car gets about 6 mpg around town and has a 10 gallon tank. Wont be that far away.

That was a very common anti theft method for the late 80s. it's not always the turn signal, but that seems to be the most common in my experience.

In my cars i hidden kill switches for fuel pump and coil.
