    Default Reassembly-Finally

Had a good day today, got the engine and K Member back in the Turbo Conv. It might not be the prettiest but considering how it started out I am real pleased. The car sat in a barn in WI for the last 13 years and before that spent it's life in Chicago. It's a 60K mile car and all original so it will ride again soon I hope.

Looks good! Must be one hell of a work stool to hold up the front of the car in the one shot! LOL!

This car had no water lines to the turbo. I have four of these 84 Turbo cars and of the four only one has water lines, the other three do not. I have never figured out just how that works. I know SVOs have the water cooling. I did some research on Garrett part numbers and the applications for a 83-84 Turbo (GT) car show either the water/oil, or just the oil. Of course the water lines are completly different for the two applications. If you have any information as to why this is let me know, I have always wondered.

    Thanks
    Mark
