    Default Not getting any fire..

Helping a buddy of mine out with his '88 TC, according to him it's been about 9 years since it ran, the story goes that he was working on it outside, went in & fell asleep when a rainstorm hit and the hood was off at the time. I'm not sure any of that is relevant at all really, but wanted to let you know what I was starting with. So far we have tested two coils and no spark, took the cap off ant the #4 contact in there looks like it got ridiculously hot but the others all look good. Could it be the ignition module itself or possibly even a bad dizzy?
Any help or advice is appriceated.

Take the cap off and make sure the rotor spins when you turn the motor over. If it doesn't, then the timing belt is broke. After making sure the timing belt is good, id pull all the connections loose and check for any rust or corrosion since you said it all got wet. If still no fire, then I would look at the tfi on the dizzy.
