Capri wagon... I like it. Need a metal wizard to incorporate the quarter "buldges" to make it complete. That would be cool!

'78 Fairmont Wagon here. Soon to be an EFI 5-speed car with an aero dash. "Soon" is of course relative if you've been following my build thread.

Fuzzydicerule, I have had that same, twisted idea in the time I have owned my wagon. Right down to the grafted-on rear flares. Nice sketch, did you freehand it all or do I see a bit of tracing in there to get the perspective so nice?

its actually traced off of a picture of mike's (at6svo) wagon.

i traced the outlines and freehanded the capri nose and the wheels and such, im not that good at drawing...

I actually had the other wagon that phil (frink) and his dad had, my ideal end product is the Wagon with capri nose, fenders and quarters, 03 Cobra drivetrain, complete with IRS and wheels. and some sort of upgraded interior, whether it be aero or cobra, i dunno.

No, but I photoshopped an 81 Cougar snout on a bubbleback Capri once. Trust me, it looked as awful as it sounds (and was intended to). It was to prove that even bad combinations of factory parts look better than the Pontiac Aztek...and it looked so bad that it ended in a split vote!

A Mustang nose swap is do-able but requires body work.
