Default Fox station wagon roll call!

O.K., we're below the B.S. section on the board... We're "step-foxes". Let's see all of the "red-headded step-foxes"... The "granny cars", the "grocery-getters".

mine aint pretty, but ill try to get a pic posted of it.

1978 fairmont wagon-brown no less with butternut yellow interior.

    does the A-B job well.I 6/auto

mods are roof rack (owner) delete, ten holes, new belts, plugs, wires, rotor and cap.The 1978 pieces had become a little long in the tooth.31 years of service was quite enough in my opinion.

the car just turned over 72,000 miles.the rust in the floorpans and the drivers side rail are the only negatives to the car;other than the 0 to 60 in 4.5 miles.

Sweet. I personally would chose the wagon over the Mustang II in the backround, even if they were in identical condition. Thank you for doing what you do for our country.

The economy is stalling my progress. I figure the 2.3 gets better mileage than the warmed up 351W that I'm building for it.

Here is my 78 Mont. It has had the front lights and grill changed by the preveous owner from a fender bender. Thats why it has the amber 79 up lights in it. The black valance under the bumper is busted. I have managed to round up NOS parts for the front end so when I build it from the ground up it should look decent. I have NOS: RH headlight bezel, LH headlight bucket/header panel assembly (complete), LH and RH clear "78" park light housings, both reverse light houseings, and the latest piece to the NOS collection for the wagon is the black valance under the bumper. All are still in the ford boxes sitting in the garage on a shelf. I am wanting to put a S/C 5.4 out of a lightning in it with a 6 speed trans. I am going with steel wheels and dog dish caps. I want it to look stock except for the blower and valve covers sticking through the hood. The car is a factory 302/C4 with 2.46 gear. Red outside with black inside with buckets and sport wheel and A/C. It is a factory no roof rack car also. The guy I bought it from put a rack on it

Here is a current underhood shot. Its not a good pic at all but here it is:

    79 Mustang COBRA 302/C4 (sold)
    82 Zephyr Z7 200 I6/C5 (daily driver work car)
78 Fairmont Wagon 5.0/5spd (possibly selling it)
    80 Mustang coupe (sold)
84 Mustang coupe 5.0/5spd (gave to my son)
    85 Mustang GT 5.0/auto "Wifes"
    87 Mustang Coupe 5.0/C4 (sold)
    88 Mustang Coupe 5.0/5spd (sold)
    90 Mustang Hatch 2.3/5spd (traded)
Load it like a boxcar........drive it like a dragcar!!!!!!!!!
