i'm hoping to be next to the mustangs, but am just excited to be going.
Hope it's better than mustang week in myrtle beach last year, show was ok but was a great 2 week vacation !!!
Hello again. I booked a room at the Econolodge in Harrisburg only 3 miles from the fairgrounds. $119 a night or you can join the Choice rewards and get $109 but its non refundable.
Anyway, just an FYI in case anyone is in need of a room. This years show should be great!!
DOn
Hey, you need to call Carlisle and see if they can move you guys near the Mustangs. Problem is that there are so many years of Capris and the Carlisle people have now made it a Mustang show ( I know because I own a 65 Falcon and a 95 T-Tbird that I show also) and sometimes we're the red headed step kids also.
What I would say is call and just see. They do use an ENORMOUS amount of room for the Mustangs every year. The yellow ones did 2 rows last year alone, nevermind the new Mustangs.
Good luck and come say hi, bringing the 85 GT this year.
Don
I am still not registered yet. Up in arms after being ignored by Carlisle about the Capri classification. I'm willing to put it to a vote of do I take the capri or do I take the Messtang?..... the Capri will be at MU though!
Don, yes. I called, and was told to write. I write, it gets ignored. Maybe I will call today. I want and need to register but also don't want my car abandoned off in the distance. And its not that the placement is horrible, its just so far from where our "sister" mustangs are.
Ill prob go ... ill take the 86 ... I might even put it in the show... Anyone know how much it is to enter

Fingers crossed everyone!!
I just got off the phone with Ed one of the Carlisle Events organizers. I too pleaded our case for placement with or near the other four eyed foxes. I think he really understood our desire to be with our four-eyed cousins. When he asked me where we'd like to be placed, I almost got a lump in my throat....
He assured me they will do their best to try and accommodate us "fox" capris. I in turn told him I could almost guarantee more Capri attendance in future years if that did happen as we all are part of the same enthusiast pool. He really liked hearing that. Come on everyone, we can do this!!
Fingers crossed!!!
Ed is a great guy. Lou and me talked to him last year about us parking elsewhere. But its good someone else asked too

Is anyone interested in rolling out in a group to Carlisle on Friday Morning? I think that I am Trailering the GT out since last year needed parts that were for sale in the swap meet and had to give stuff to 4 different people to get it home.
We'll see as time goes on. But really want to know.
I did this with the Thunderbird crowd and what a great time.
They are really good at leaving things alone. Unlike mother nature who can tear down a tent in no time. Just lower it down and leave it there and put it up the next day.
Any you guys interested, I have a 20x12 screen tent in case (i should not say this!!!) RAINS...we could get under it. Its huge and can cook under it and all. Used it with the T-bird gang (Super Coupes) and worked everytime
If interested, tell me and I'll bring it
I just registered, can't wait til June!!!!
