    Default Radiator support repair

Is there a place that sells replacement supports for the pre 83 cars? My 80 notch is completly rusted out in the middle section on the bottom (sorry no pics) Each side is still fairly solid, so would the best way to repair this just weld in a section between the two?

    Default Radiator support repair

I would consider going to a scrap yard and looking for that area in one if it can be found. Most of these places should be able to torch out more than you need and you trim to fit. As an fyi you should weld in some sort of a support prior to removing the center section to ensure it doesn't move while getting the rusty part out.
Maybe put a request for the part on the WTB section.

yea local yards are kinda outta the question, lets put it this way, i get really excited to see any fox around by me, and when i saw these 2 at a yard i bought both immediatly. Too late for the brace weld, as the middle was gone...lol.

PM me if you are interested in a tubular lower section.

I would suggest just splicing in a stock or aftermarket lower section. when I crunched mine I could only fine them with good upper portion, or good lower portion but not both. I needed the side walls to the shock towers thus I bought one with a perfect upper then went to pull and save and found a nearly perfect lower and spliced them together.

    Good luck!

Looks nice, but kinda pricy. I would be more inclined to make my own.
