Just printed off some directions and it's still looking like a go for me. Don't they have cruise nights right in the parking lot here in the summer? It's only like 1-1.5 hours from my work. Maybe I'll make a few of those next summer. It would be nice to make one with my FJ40 sometime too. I haven't shown it for a few years.

Have a great time guys! Maybe I'll be available for the next one. Daytona is one of my favorites and I drink some Budweisers while I'm rooting for Dale Jr. Maybe next time...

Was nice to see you guys today!

Too bad Five Guys was such a mad house and too bad Red Robin was too and split us up.

I don't know how I drew the short straw and got Ken though....I will get you guys back I promise! LOL

On a serious note, it was nice to meet you Kevin, and nice to see the rest of you that I obviously already know.

Next time we will plan this one out a bit better, where it isn't such a mad house! WOW was it busy there!

Come on spring, this will be a lot of fun to do outside too.

And since there were no show cars, I only snapped a few pics of Gillet Stadium on the way out to the car....

Wish I could have gone and I'm glad you had a good time in spite of being split up. Maybe next time.

On the "I'm Marking My Calendar" thread, someone suggested going to F40 MotorSports in Portland then go over the bridge to Five Guys in Middletown. Anyone interested in doing this on Saturday, April 2? By then the weather should be warm(er) and the snow will be almost gone.

Well that was the most expensive lunch i've had for a while (went through about 3/4 of a tank of gas in my truck today) but it was great to see you all. Even though I had to sit with Jeff... That place was a madhouse. It was great inspiration to brave the cold and get to work on my car. Or maybe I'll just stop being cheap and turn the heat back on in my garage. Hopefully if everything comes together with my tool gathering I'll have my motor out next weekend.

I honestly didn't even THINK of the camera...OOOPS!!

We are going to need some GOOD rains by April 2nd to clean the roads, but it's not out of the question.

From what I have experienced at 2 Five Guys now they are ALWAYS busy, so this idea is ONLY going to work if we can eat the grub outside and its warm. There is no guarantee we will finding seating. They don't seem to build them large inside I have noticed.

Too bad as they burgers are so good there too!

Glad you 2 made it home ok! (Joe and Ken) was nice to see you guys make the journey!

Ken did you make it for dinner at Mom's?

I would love to make it to F40 one of these days but the second is certainly not going to work for me. I'm sure my car will still be apart and there will still be lots of snow in my driveway preventing me from getting it up the hill and out the driveway. And yes I did make it to my parents place at about 5:40. Just in time. My truck averaged 18.2 MPG yesterday. Not bad considering I was doing 80-85 most of the trip.
