I bought the rotating assembly from Coast high performance (local) and had help with putting it together. Though, when I finally get the LTD LX up and going and converted to SEFI I'm thinking of saving for a 347 SB. Their Street fighter kit is good for up to 550 hp and is just under 2200. Not too bad when you think about it. And with you being in SoCal, you could just drive your truck up to Torrance and pick it up.

Yeah, I'd probably buy an assembled short block. There are several placed in SoCal selling them in the $2K range. Unfortunately it's a bad time for this to happen as I'm putting away all my extra pennies to save for my upcoming wedding, which is why I don't foresee getting my car fixed any time soon unless I just want to throw the stock engine back together.

I want to go to the show but my RS needs exhaust work. It has a really bad rattle in it ATM and I haven't been working very many hours lately so I am wondering if I am going to be able to afford to pay for the exhaust to get fixed before the show. Might say screw it and take it anyway even with the rattle.

I'm going, even though the car isn't pretty. If there aren't other fox stangs going, there's no point in me meeting before the show. Even if I roll in with the ltds I won't be parking with them.

I'm going ... only as a spectator though. It would be great to meet some of you. I'll find the four-eyed and hopefully find some of my fellow FEP members. I've never been to Fabulous Fords but it seems like it will be a great show!

Some of the inland empire guys are thinking of meeting at the Denny's on Orangthrope and Beach in Anaheim for FFF. The time has yet to be decided. But I'd prefer 7am so we can eat breakfast then leave for the show at 8am.

7AM at Dennys is fine with me. If there wasn't going to be a meeting I was just going to grab breakfast at a drivethru and eat in the car.

My head gasket replacement is about half way done. Providing the car runs once it's back together, I'll be taking it up there. I know a couple of the normal LTD guys won't be coming this year.

I paid for my entrance, so worst case scenario, I'll take my Focus and have a bitchin' $30 parking spot, heh.

Yessir. Normally the "other four eyed" guys meet up for breakfast early, which means I leave butt-ass early, but I dunno what the plan is this time.

Damn, forgot it's further from home than my sister's like I did last year. So 95 miles if I stick to the freeway. I'm leaning towards sleeping in a little and eating in the car rather than try to make it down there for breakfast at 7.

that would be cool, where and when, I was gonna head up 15, do you generally go that way or 5?

my fox is unfortunately setting without its motor and the other fox I am not ready for a road trip that far yet so the GT is gonna make the ride.
