fabulous fords forever car show

well back home and all is well, had a nice weekend this trip, did some sightseeing while up in the area, hadn't been to this show but one other time, forgot how many cars and trucks are part of it, I spent the day but didnt see everything, missed most of the four eyes I guess or wasn't many there, definitly didnt see a 20th anny car anywhere, the S197s were abundant and as last time many were overdone for my tastes. Started the trip out yesterday out of San Diego, had washed my 08 GT Friday night and it rained all night, leaving Sat. morning it was misting and streets wet, cool thing happened, got flashed by CHP on the HWY and figured since I had edged past the posted speed I was gonna get a ticket, nope...... as soon as I got off to the shoulder the guy went around and yelled "good looking car" over his loudspeaker. this is the second time since I have had the car that I had a cop comment, got pulled over a couple of years ago and the guy asked me about my rear quater window covers, told me he liked them, car was cool, and gave me a warning for no front tag.

been a good weekend.

It was a good show.

There were not too many 4 eyes there. And not too many foxes over all.

Thing that scares me is that my 85 GT is getting more attention. For the previous years that I've taken it.... it's always, for the most part, been ignored.

This was my mothers first FFF show. She was excited. And her mostly stock 89 GT Vert got a lot of attention.

But, here was this great plain-jane 81 Fairmont 2 door.

For the first time I crossed the street and went to the mall parking lot and there were more Fox bodies in the parking lot than in the show!

There was definitely a lot of foxes at the mall across the street, not a whole lot of 4-I's though. I had plenty of time to see them since I don't even bother to look at S197's and newer in the show.

The silver 'mont in group 26 was as sweet as can be, except that I am EFI fan.

Good times indeed. Wondering what I should take next year....
