looking for a other exhaust set up ,
what does fit for this type
because original there is 1 pipe to the back , and i want two
i see so many types for sale , but almost for lx and younger
i want to have headers and flowmaster 40 serie , but i still want to know the right pipes between them , and what kind of headers does fit ,
note , i have some 351 w cilinderheads , and want to use them in the future , so the headers must fit 302 and 351 in the future

Sweet car. I love it.
As far as headers and exhaust go do you guys have emissions testing? Do you ned all of the stock emissions parts?
If not that you can get headers for 86-93 5.0, a H pipe for 86-93 5.0 and a lx style cat back exhgaust for 86-93 5.0. You will also want to get a double hump transmission cross member.
Now that I think about it will a 86-93 trans cross member fit the c3/c4 or what ever is under that car.

It looks very nice! amazing what a good polish and wax job can do...
IŽd change the wheels for something nicer, and pretty much the car will look perfect.
Interesting to see a European Mustang
Car looks great! I would get rid of the wheels if I were you. Have you considered painting the chrome drip rail trim black? The sail panels might look good in black as well.
For exhaust you will need a double hump transmission crossmember, headers from an 86-93 , An 86-93 H pipe, and a 86-93 catback of your choice. You can either get stock ford parts, of aftermarket like BBK headers, BBK H pipe, and Flowmaster catback. You will most likely not be able to use 302 headers with 351 heads though, I believe the exhaust ports are higher?

Don't forget to do the brake lines on the Dif, I just converted my 83 Capri to true duals using a pair of BBK shorties, 88 cated H-pipe, A Summit cat back system & the double hump trans cross mount, exhaust hangers & dif brake lines from a 86 GT..
It worked out great..

Yes. All factory windsor heads have the same mounting locations for the exhaust.does it also fit 351w cilinderheads?
If memory serves, the transmission cross member mounts on the body of your car are narrower than what the later double hump cross members are. I believe you have to remove one side of the mount and relocate it before you can use the double hump cross member.
