My top 5 favorite bands in order are:

    1. The Rolling Stones
    2. Van Halen
    3. Led Zeppelin
    4. Guns & Roses
    5. The Who

Those are my staples but give me any Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Rock, etc... from the 60's to the current day and I'll be o.k. Of the newer bands, I like Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, 3 Days Grace (I just saw these guys and they were awesome. They're going to be big!). I don't have a favorite radio station so I'm usually switching around from 94 HJY (Providence), 100.7 WZLX (Boston), PIXY 103 (Cape Cod) or 105.7 WROR (Boston). They all play the style that I'm usually looking for.

I listen to Rush also,,, Rush Limbaugh that is 11am-2pm, Garage Logic (ESPN am1500) 2pm to 5pm on many stations around Minnesota, Dakotas, Wisconsin and maybe in Iowa, Jason Lewis 5pm-8pm syndicated around the USA. Now and then I wander through music stations until 10pm when Tommy Mischke comes on AM 830 WCCO. There is no one else on the radio like him. He can be heard in many states in the USA and some in Canada.

I don't have any order in my favorites...I listen to pretty much all forms of rock except the hard-core death/black-metal stuff.

    Alice in Chains
    Boston
    Led Zeppelin
    Foo Fighters

    ...I can't think of a fifth one.

I like a little of everything. I have tons of Rush, Van Halen, Police, Zep, and Pink Floyd.

But I also like newer stuff like the Silversun Pickups, A Perfect Circle and Mutemath.

I listen to a wider variety though too. Everything from Miles Davis, Maynard Ferguson, to Sinatra. I basically like everything but country.

I have listened to nothing but Metallica for about two weeks straight. Motley Crew for a few weeks before that and George Strait before that. I listen to mostly classic rock, some new rock and good country. I did hear a new rock song on the radio yesterday that I really liked but I don't remember the name of the song or the band. The station was playing them because they were playing in a "Twisted" concert with a bunch of other bands.

*edit* I just heard the song on the radio again tonight. The band is called Middle Class Rut and the song is New Low. A little research shows the band has been around for a while and the song has been out for three years....ok, so I am a little behind when it comes to "new" music, but the song is still great. I'll have to listen to some other songs.

You had me up 'til the very end lol, but then oh well.

I basically like anything that I can understand -- in any genre.

All time favorite group is the Manhattan Transfer -- especially in live concerts.

But then, I also like Jon Bon Jovi.

Add Maroon 5 -- Michael Buble -- Pink -- Plain White Ts -- Daughtry.

But I luvs me some country ---- and southern gospel.

I like to hear someone whose got a voice and can seriously sing.

If someone can blow me away, I'm there.
