    I completely understand!

Of course, I have never had that happen to me!

Awesome work and great project. Makes me want to get out and finish up the misc things I need to get my Pace car back on the road.

The only problem is the 17 degree outside temperature!

    Happy New Year!

    **UPDATED**

202.5 hours, well times that by 2 since there was two of us working on it, and here is where its at:

Lizard Skin sprayed in (it dries black)

    getting ready to be blocked

    ready for paint

    jammed

    Color

The color is Ford High Performance White done in Dupont waterbase. I decided against silver because I couldn't find the color I really wanted, and scared as hell of scratching it especially the engine compartment. Now the fun part starts.

Excellent progress. Amazing how light these cars are stripped down like that. I pushed/pulled mine sideways across the garage last weekend to get it where I wanted it.

    UPDATE

The car is was going back together good until it came time to wire in the Megasquirt. Making harnesses and figuring out the pinouts for the EEC connector has been a small learning curve for me, but its just about done.

Here is the engine mocked up. I'm using the coils, cam sensor, and crank sensor off of a 5L Explorer, and an EDIS 8 Module (the reason for the Megasquirt).

The wheels just came in today. They are TSW Valencia 18x8 with a 40 offset up front and 18x9.5 with a 40 offset in the back. Tires are Nitto NT05 245/40 up front and 275/35 in the back.

Right now I'm in the process of wiring up the relays for the contour fans (they are going to be controled by the Megasquirt). Once the fan wiring is done, I have to recheck my work then the dash can go back in and I can finally make some progress.

    Love the look!

Next to the Nurburgring RF the Valencia are my favorite wheels from TSW!

I only wish they offered what I need in offset for my Pace Car.

Great work! Keep the pictures coming.

Dont really know yet. The wiring was a little crazy soldering all the wires to the correct pinout in the adapter box. If I got the MS2 plug n play, it would have been easier, but wouldnt have the nice extras MS3 does. I'm hoping the tuning is easier than dealing with the quarter horse.

very nice, i used to work at at a restoration shop, and that is definitely the right way to restore a car, did they use aluminum oxide to blast the car? and r u going to get the door skins plastic media blasted? i would love to do that to my rs but money is an issue and so is space, also did u get the car dx primered so it won't flash rust, it looks like it is
