I am thinking about buying a 1986 5.0 ASC Mclaren Capri convertible with an auto trans but wanted to find out a few things about them before I get in too deep and try to borrow the cash from my Dad to buy it. The Car is in decent shape and the guy that owns it says it runs good. The car has around 130k miles on it and the car looks like it is the factory light academy metallic blue. It is completely factory right down to the rims and stock radio. It needs some very minor body work and the vert top is completely shot. The guy wants $1200 for it.
First question is, What kind of vert top came on these cars and can you still buy them?
Second question is, can you still get the ground effects for these cars? This one doesn't have them
The rest of the items are basic capri stuff
