    Default Recaro seats

I added pics to my photo albums showing my progress on my Recaro seat resto. I plan to have them done by early/late spring so I plan to add updates as I make progress along with my interior resto. Enjoy.

I finally completed my Recaro seats. Here's a few pics of my progress during the last year. I got busy over the spring and summer so I didn't get much done until the past few weeks. The seats came from a 79 Cobra Pace Car that was junked and severely rusted (car was from Minnesota). I took the seats completely apart and had the frames sandblasted and powdercoated by Pristine Powdercoating. I sourced all new or nearly new trim from a couple of Porches, VW's and Euro Fords and was able to get the webbing and hardware from Aardvarc Racing. My headrests are in good shape so I opted to have them dyed to match the vinyl, which was custom made and installed by Klint's in Denver.

Those Recaros turned out very nice... that makes me want to find a set and redo just to have on hand if I was to get a 80-81 Cobra or 82 GT someday

I know all about changing priorities. It took me almost two years to finish my Recaros. Right now I'm trying to decide which car (SVO or 93 Cobra) to take to the mustang's 50th birthday (wherever that might be). I was planning on finishing the interior and putting in an IRS from a cobra mustang this winter, but since my turbo died I figured I'll tackle that first and maybe upgrade to a 3G alt and serpentine belt setup. The 93 Cobra needs a tune and is getting it's hood painted and front color matched. It also needs a few things done to the interior.

Those came out great! I just picked up a ugly red set out of a 80 Capri, and they need some serious help like yours did.
