I remember looking at one of those when they first came out. I was very taken with it, but it was not meant to be. I'll bet that cars with the Carriage Roof option are hard to come by these days...

Ok, what's the difference between a "carriage roof" and a "convertible"? Are they one and the same, or distinct differences?

carriage roof...non convertible. Carriage roof looks to be a hard top from the pictures with cloth over it. Convertible is just cloth.
