Funny. My daughter goes for hers this week. When we get her a car this will give us 5 cars. Gonna be tough to get mine out of the garage next summer.

Wow, that Bugatti is awesome! I wonder if that was the low mile, one owner barn find from New York that was featured on the show last year. Nice Slant Nose 911 Turbo, too.

And that blower on the MG looks to be a little Eaton M90 but on that car it looks down right HUGE! I believe the M90 is a less than a full liter of displacement so it probably is about the same displacement of the actual motor itself! LOL!

The Bugatti is a replica. One time when I was there they had the hood open and it's got a Jag in-line six. It's still beautiful and all yours for only a quarter million.

I have in my old magazine collection a November, 1956 issue of Motor Trend. In the Buy and Sell column in the back, someone was selling a Bugatti Type 57 for $2695!!! Today you can add three zeroes to that.

Amazingly, I think I have that magazine! A good friend of mine from church gave me a bunch of old Motor Trends and Hot Rods from the early and mid 1950's a couple of years ago right after my dad passed away. I'll have to check and see!

Yeah, receiving those magazines was one of those blessings I'll never forget. I didn't have the best relationship with my dad prior to his passing, and I learned painfully that he wanted a lot of his momentos given to a kid in their neighborhood rather than to me. So the magazines from my friend at church ( who incidentally would have been around my dad's age at the time) was a real unexpected blessing!

    Sorry to get off topic.

That Bugatti, replica or not is very sweet. I actually like the Jag motor. Was it a 4.2 or 3.8 or other?

Funny, the Bugatti was my least favorite of the cars on display. I really liked that Porsche slant nose ~ caught my attention, but at $79.5k it wont be coming home with me any time soon.....

Yeah, I've developed a real liking for the classic cars, expecially the Bugatti's.

All of the cars there are just dream cars, I have no regard for their cost. I just enjoy seeing them and appreciating the different engineering and styling from the different manufacturers and era's.
