    Default Owned two

I had owned two of these cars and miss them hugely. I had the same car, black with green stripe. Great car and it had the 4 cyl turbo engine, loved that car. Got hit in the late 80s and the insurance company totalled it. I also had a 80 Cobra Tan with orange stripe turbo car. That one was fun also and both had the trx package (when trx tires were cheap!) and wish every day that I had them back. Have actually searched high and low to try to find one local so that the cost of the car does not equal the cost of shipping!!!

    anyway,

great cars and hope to own one again someday!!

I don't own this one, but it sure drew a lot of attention today at the Bi-annual All Pony Show in Prescott.

That's our red 86 GT vert. in the distant upper left with people standing looking at it.

Just joined. Had a very nice red 5.0/ 4 speed cobra in high school, 94. Hit by a bad driver that summer. Been looking ever since. Just picked up an automatic twin to it, not sure wich one of us has aged better. Ha! Planning a semi restoration as funds become available.

Was that the one in MD Amy? If so that looked to be a very nice original car. Congrats!! You sure have some awesome cars! You are building quite a collection there

Thanks Tony and Mike. No it wasn't the one in Maryland. We went to Vermont to get this one. Car is still on the trailer. I am not 100% sure what a cobra alternate is. But I will post the door tag and pics in a bit.

I have an 85 Canadian Cobra and I presently own a very very sad 1980 Cobra that started life as a Cobra 4cyl turbo. However now it has an aero gt front clip, aero side windows and gt rear bumper and a 351w. Wish I could save it but the car needs a lot more work then my 85 and I like my 85 a lot more. Going to sell it as a rolling body and put the 351w in something else.
