Greetings 4 & 6 group members (all 6 others of you)!

I have two V6 capris. My first car is a '77 Capri ghia II 2.8 w/ 4 speed. It has been slumbering since 1999 when I finally got fed up overpaying the smog police every two years (a shop wanted $500 to "rebuild" my non-stock Holley 2V carb that worked just fine). I have refocused my attention on my '73 capri 2.6 w/ 4 speed and sunroof (smog exempt here in Cali). After rummaging through the wrecking yards for 20 years, I have found most of the parts I need to build a nice 'lil 2.8.
The pics in my album of the 73 & 77 are NOT of my cars, they represent what my cars may look like when they are finished.

Perhaps we can change the name of our group to something with more pizzazz such as 4 & 6 Niche OR The 4 & 6 Itch OR The 4 & 6 Itch Niche! ?

Capri II's are awesome. I plan on owning one some day.

I agree that the Capri II is great. Here in Cali, cars built between 1976 and when they received computer control and fuel injection are a nightmare to keep tuned for the bi-annual smog check. The Capri II suffered from a bunch of vacuum assisted smog controls, vacuum hoses, and the dreaded variable venturi carb. What we need here in Cali is the 30 year rolling smog exemption back in effect.
