Hi, my name is Joe and I have 82 GTitis...I fell in love with this car way back in grade 10 when it was first introduced and have always craved to have one. I've had two 1982 GT's since 2004. My current 82 GT is black with T-Tops and a complete 1988 drivetrain. I always wanted an original T-Top 82 GT but the modifications were professionally done. The seats are from a 92 Coupe, steering wheel and guages and bezel are from an 86' GT. I've added a few upgrades such as a struct tower brace, rear louvers, aluminum rad, 87'-93' front spindles and brakes, KYB shocks and struts, Pioneer CD-iPod deck with upgraded speakers, and most recently set of Keystone 16" mesh style rims with newer rubber.

My name is jered I am 28 years old with two kids. I reside in colorado springs colorado I live right in front of seven falls I first purchased my 1982 last year ad have only done a could mode. Edlebrock intake mani, edlebrock carb,msd ignition,5 lug conversion and rear brake conversion. Just did an electric fuel pump and now I have a major leaks comin from the bottom of my water pump I love my 82, I got it mainly because I loved the front end and it was the year I was born. If I ever spell something wrong its because I don't proof read because I use my phone for the internet so it takes to long this is my first ford I have been a honda guy for years and I have owned a 91 camaro and a 1985 trans am concept with the LT1.

My name is Evan, I am 18 and my 82 was my first car. It was in rough shape when I bought it but now it has a new drive-train and the interior is being restored at the moment. It is nice to now other people love the 82s as much as me!

Hello guys my name is mike.i am 23 newly merried.i live in centril Il.i have had my 82 gt for alittle over a year.i think my pics are in my album of when i first got it. i did alot of work to it.i put new carpet in, new door seals, new hatch seal, newer rearend has 3:27 gears in it, the seats are original.fronts need new apolster.back is in great shape. i first put a carbed 302 mild cam tremec tranny. i put 289 hipo heads on over torqued them. cracked the block. then i got a supposed 347.i put those heads back on it.it has about 11 to 1 compression. has a torquer II intake, 600 dbl pumper carb. i first had a hei distributor on it.i didnt like it so i put the coin down on a complete msd 6al-programable.it has a mallory 110 fuel pump.i have a c4, 10'' converter.i just put a new b&m pro ratchet in it.full 3'' exhaust and dump outs.i love the car its always fun to drive and i always get looks when i drive it.this web site has been really helpful and its a pleasure to be in this group!

My name is Darren, and i am 21 years old. I got this car from a long time family friend a month or two after high school (2008 ), it being my first car. The car has sat since 1992 after the engine was blown up. When i got it it was basically a roller, less trans and parts of the engine. For the past 2 or so years I've been rebuilding it and just got it running a month or two ago. It has a c4 tranny with a hammer shifter, soon to be 3.55 geared 8.8. The engine started of with a fresh block, set of E7's, a bigger cam, and a nice set of pistons. The exhaust is a single 3 inch with a 2 chamber muffler. Wheels are jegs sports lites, 15X4 with 165/15 and 15X8 rear with 255/60/15.

What's up ya'll, I'm Bret and I am 34 years old. I haven't had my 82 all that long, but I really like it. I have always been a fan of foxes since I was a kid. My brother has had a couple really nice ones, and now I finally have mine. I am also a fan of 1st gen. stangs. I have a 67 that is a never ending project. I haven't done anything to my 82 yet except put on some pony wheels. I plan on redoing the interior, and putting on all new weather stripping soon (sun roof leaks) and eventually freshen up the motor. I am not looking to build a dragster, just a fun dependable car. I found this website several years ago when I was looking at buying an 83 Capri. I love it, what a great group of people, and thanks for the invite to the group!

Hi my name is Harry and I'm an 82 gtaholic.I've had mine for about 6 yrs now,and its been an obsession.When I got it it was completely stock and worn out.It now has a 331 T5 8.8 rear and all new suspension.I did a lot of work on the interior.There are some pics in my gallery.These cars a very rare around here.I belong to a 200 plus local Mustang club and mine is the only one.Glad to join this group.

Helllllo, Im also Mike lol and have an 82 GT ( and an 88 lx hb ) t-tops leak a little..It had the lower front spoiler but ive just taken it off.. yeah it looks good from far but far from good.. I might put it back on once i can make sure its snug with the bumper.. after seeing the ones on here i couldnt leave mine on how it was.. Lots of suspension mods coming soon... TFS Twisted Wedge heads i belive, Rpm Air gap intake, Edelbrock carb.. 373, Holly red, short shifter.. etc etc..

Hello other 82 GT owners out there , my name is Ron and I own a 1982 GT as well. I used to work for Ford back in this era and I remember when the Fox Mustangs came out in 1979. I actually convinced my parents to factory order a hatchback Fox back then an d I was always a big fan of these cars.I came so close to buying a GT brand new in 1982 and then in 1985 , but had other pressing commitments then. Well now many years later I came across an all original 82 black with T-roofs and leather interior and all power options. It had been neglected for a time but what was important to me was the un-modified condition and the originality of the car. So my son and I have been playing with it for a bit and we'll be buying insurance for it this weekend ; I can't wait to actually put some miles on it again. I live on the west coast of Canada and you just really don't see these cars much anymore. Glad to find this group for inspiration and advice. Thanks...
