block question

I am cleaning up the engine bay of the 84 svo I purchased to prepare to pull the engine the rest of the way out (something the previous owner lost interest in about half way out )
and found a marking on the block ,a big FP below the distributor cap on the block ,I checked my 84 and it does not have this marking . is this marking on other blocks ?

oops it is on my 84 vert block must be on all of them

The block that came out of my svo has those marks. FYI its not my original block tho.....

Did you see if the SVO's vin was in the block?

I'm wondering what roller cam that the SVO has in it. I pulled a ranger roller cam today and the lobes look a lot smaller than the one thats in your engine. Wondering if its an old ford A237 cam or something of that sort.

I think he is talking about the roller cam in my svo ,I am not sure which cam it is but I found out the rust it has on it will clean off ,so it may be usable ,the followers however are shot
