Strut Qestion?

Hey, I've been told that the spindles from an 88 Turbo Coupe are the same as the 87-93 5.0L Mustangs.

So if I run those spindles on my 81 I can run the regular 5.0L Mustang struts right without any shims or anything?

The spindles are the same, but depending on the brand of strut you may or may not need the shims.
