THE CAR STILL HAS THE 2.73 GEARS AND THE 1995 STOCK CAM,SO KEEP THAT IN MIND WHEN WATCHING THE VID.

He lives in Texas, what's "over the winter"???:p
We race year-round, only lay off for a few weeks around Christmas/New Years.;)

haha,yeah,no REAL winter around here.the gears are supposed to be installed this weekend.the cam will be after i cant ring anymore out of the stock one.
Im a glutton for punishment!i want to break into the 7's on motor with the stock cam,if that is possible.

im having a tough time getting someone pinned down to actually do them.scheduling conflicts on either mine or their part.
making a trek to the track again today to get my 7.60 pass before i change the gears.I firmly believe with good air,sticky track,perfect rpm launch and tire pressure set correcetly that with the new gears,I should be in the 6's!!
more lightening to come in the future.

What part of the D/FW area are you in???
Trying to remember who set up my gears when I lived up there...
Don't know if they are still there but I do know that Lopez Auto Repair in Irving set up the gears in a 9" I had in a Trans Am but that was 20 years ago.
