well since I wont be using the 17's I took off my capri for that car anymore I thought I would paint them and see how they look on my 84 coupe.
what do you guys think?

Center caps black too or did you leave them metal finish? The black looks good.

I have not done the center caps yet, the ones they came with I dont like so I am going to try to find ones that will fit and paint them black as well.

yes , I sanded them then 2 coats of primer then 2 coats of paint.

I used a 3m scotch brite pad, cant remember the grit it was though.

here they are now with the car painted as well, I still need to clean after all t he sanding dust and grim landed on them.

Or you could get the smoke colored Metalcast and do the lip, followed by a clearcoat.

Once they are washed up they will look good on your coupe.
