I lowered my '79 Fairmont wagon this weekend and need some caster camber plates. What are some good in-expensive ones? Will all 79-93 mustang ones work?

I vaguely recall '91 and later are different than the earlier cars.
I don't know of a good inexpensive set. I haven't looked, yet.

I went with the Kenny Brown "Castor Plus" plates. They offer increased caster but are not ajustable for caster. They offer a greater camber range than stock (went from max negative of 0.2 to 0.7 on my narrow body 85 Fox). Most importantly, they offered greater suspesion travel which gave me the chance to run the '02 Mach I struts (this is also critical on a lowered car).
Also important to me is that these plates still use a (smaller than stock) rubber bushing on top. Most other aftermakret ones use a spherical bearing (no rubber) and I did not want the additional NVH.
KB is out of business so you'll have to find a used set. Might be worth a call to Maximum Motorsports as they keep track of what Mustang bits fit older Foxes.

I am using the Maximum Motorsports plates, but they're not cheap. I wanted heavy duty plates that don't use rubber bushings in order to run coilovers. Many of the cheaper plates can't support the weight of the car with coilovers.

O yeah they are. Thats the problem I have is my car has all newer suspension and it had the 91+ 1s so I had to change them but I still cant adjust it good thats why i'm going with the MMs.

There are no good "cheap" caster camber plates. Spend the money once and spend it correctly..

I have the hotchkis plates on my car, and had I known ahead of time I also would have purchased the MM plates. The 90-93 use a slightly bigger bolt pattern that requires the holes on 89 and older cars to be modified slightly.

Ya, I went with the MM as I am planning on coilovers at some point in time as well
