On my 82 Capri, I am swapping to a 8.8" rear end with 5 lug set up (still drum), and am going to run SN95 front brakes (94-95)... What should I run for a Master Cylinder ? Any other suggestions are welcome..
Thank You

94-98 V6 SN95 cars had the 1" bore as well I think.

I am pretty sure the 94-98 V8 & V6 is a 1 1/16" bore size.
The biggest issue using the later (87 & later) MC on a pre 87 car is that the threads are all metric bubble flare. It is much easier to use the Lincoln MC which is standard US thread, inverted flare.

well there are no fuel or BRAKE lines in the car so I can run what ever I want (would work the best)

SVOs have a 1.125 bore. The pedal is going to be really stiff with just about anything but SVO brakes. There's more volume in the 73/54mm (front/rear) calipers than the any of the SN95 setups.
99 V6s and 93 Cobras (metric), and the town car (standard) use a 1" bore. The town car MC is the old style like our cars came with. I dont know what style flares the 99 V6 and 93 cobra use.
94-98s have a 1.063 bore with metric threads and bubble flares.
94/5 Cobras have metric fitting, unknown flares, and a 15/16 bore.
I think 98 was when they started using hydroboost on the V8 stangs. The mounting points are rotated 90 degrees so they wont bolt up to the booster.
I'm using a 94 booster and MC (1.063), but the car is still pretty much on blocks at the moment so I dont know how the pedal feels. I was also on the fence about going with flipped lincoln or cobra rear discs, so I went with the SN95 booster/mc in case I went with SN95 stuff on all four corners. I'm still thinking about using SN95 rears, even though I got the lincoln stuff. I'm planning on swapping over to manual brakes, so I'll probably end up with a 94 cobra MC.
If you go with a SN95 MC I'd suggest getting one at a JY. The fittings are nearly impossible to find outside of mail-order (and MM would be your best bet there). At the JY they normally cut the lines with bolt cutters and unbolt the MC.
Anyway, i'd probably try a 1" bore MC first. And look it up before you buy one, all of these numbers came from memory, and I have got them mixed up before.

K thanks for all the info guys... another Question is I am looking at weld pro star wheels, and I see 5 on 4.5 which is what I thought the sn95 mustang was... but when I measured the lugs on my front brakes I get 4.25...
I know older 5 lug fords are 4.5
and older GMs are 4.75
But I have seen these wheels on sn95 mustangs, in fact I may have to get my brother to measure his on his 2000...
Thanks

Sound like you measured center to center, which works on 4, 6, and 8 lug patterns.
To measure a 5 lug bolt pattern you need to measure from the center of one stud to the outside of the third stud.

The 4 lugs are 4x4.25, 5 lugs are 5x4.5.

Are you going to keep the drums out back or go to discs?

Using the 94-95 single piston calipers up front with drums out back, keep the stock master cylinder but gut the proportioning valve and install an adjustable proportioning valve. I've done this swap and have kept excellent pedal feel with a great improvement in braking.

I ran a SVO master & dist. block on my notchback, worked fine.

I am running the sn95 front and keeping stock rear drum just using Ranger Drums... Yes so I guess the Prop valve is my other question....

so since my 8.8 is out of a '88 stang, I have SN95 front brakes, I am assuming that 87-93 GT Master and Prop Valve should work just fine for me...

You need to tell us which front calipers you are using. The 94-98 front sn95 caliper is a single piston which if used, will be fine with the stock M/C. On the other hand, if you are going with a twin piston caliper, like the Cobra or late PBR found of the GTs, then perhaps a little bigger M/C piston is required but honeslty, I think I'd try it with the stock M/C first - leave the stock booster too. While the stock proportioning valve is designed for a front disk/rear drum set-up, you are changing stuff around too much - I'd go with a manual adjuster or at least put in the stock 87-93 proportioning valve - it will be better matched to the sn95 front disc/rear drum setup than the stocker.
