black hood emblem

i have the black hood emblem on my 82 gt that the plastic is cracked on. is it possible to change the plastic out with another emblem of simliar year. i cannot afford to buy new emblem,even if i could find one. these are to rare, so they costs

if it's just a scratch or a surface crack we use to polish them with polish wax (the one you use to finish the paint job), and usually they are saved that way.

yeah, it doesn't seem major. when i run my finger across it, you can't actually feel the cracks

Mothers Mag Wheel (for the scratches) polish followed by Plast X by Meguiars (polishing) does a pretty good job.
