I want to run a thinner tire in the front and a pretty decent size tire in the Rear...Im going to get a set of Drag radials i can run on the street and track...So any help would be great thanks....:D

I run 15X4 up Front with 165R15 tires and 15X8 in the back 275/60/15 tires, but would suggest running 275/50/15 tires in the back if you don't want to roll the fender lips.

I have 15 x 3.5" up front with M/T 26 x 4.5 tires and 15 x 8 with 5.5" backspacing and 265-60R McCreary DOT cheater slicks out back. No issues. For your fronts just use the 165R series tire that was already mentioned.

I just sold all my Draglites/tires and installed new Weld Alumastar wheels. The front sizes will remain the same, but the rears are 15 x 9.25" and 6" backspacing with M/T 28 x 9 slicks (track) and M/T 275 60R drag radials (street). Will have to massage the rear area a little to accomdate the new rear setup, no biggie.

Here's my '85 with the Draglites.

What is the back spacing on these?

They are Mustang backspacing. They came off a 88 GT so fitment is not an issue. If you need to know the actual BS, I can measure it for you.

Yeah whenever you get a chance its not a big rush to....Do you have the center caps too?

No, I do not have the center caps. I bought these for my 87 convertible but sold the car and I own nothing that requires a 4 lug so they just take up space in my garage. I will give you a measurement tomorrow.

I ran 15x3.5 on the front of my 87 w/ 165/80/15 tires. I ran 15x10 w/ 275/60/15's out back. I didn't have to roll the fender but I did have to remove the quad shocks and beat in the inner fenderwell a good bit.

Ok i love the front tire combo looks awesome...But say i dont want to beat the inner fender wheel in or remove my quad shocks..Then how wide could i go...15x8 with what size tire?

I ran a 15x8 w/ 4.5" back spacing and didn't have any trouble with the quad shocks. You might have some trouble with a 15x8 and 5.5" back spacing with quad shocks. You won't have to touch the inner fender well though.
