New Member Here! 85 LTD LX

I've owned this car for 2 years, didnt know anyting about it when I bought it and have been trying to find out as much as I can. The car has been swapped over to a 1990 Mustang GT engine and everything looks like it came from the factory that way. The guy I bought it froms son built the car in 1996. The guy had a accident and cant remember anything about the car.
The car is awesome, very fast and I haven't had any trouble out of it. It's the first Ford I've owned and I'm very interested in doing other stuff to the car. I've seen some cool LTDs on here.

its my daily driver , ive ran it on the 1/8 a couple of times my best was 9.96 @71 mph

i really like your car.i had a 'mont mordoor,that i sold.It had 10 holes,painted black.I sold it to a kid that has unfortunately been rough on it already.:mad:he was messing with something on the suspension,forgot to tighten up the lower strut bolts.They backed out,the tire turned in and messed up the tire.
Then he forgot to close the hood,it flew up on him and bent the cowl all to hell.that car was so straight and decent when i had it!!

I wish now that i hadnt sold it to him.

man that sucks , hey do you know if the bushings in the doors interchange w/ other fox bodys , my drivers door drops down when you open it .

I have one the same color but the paint is horrible. I'm getting it sanded down and painted hot rod black chrome and all.

yea it has og dash, the exauast is a summit off road pipe merged into a single 3" pipe with a flowmaster 40. i want true duals but dont know what to do bout fuel pump . thanks for askin this fourm is great.
