Ummm those are not fox body Recaro head rests that I know of. All fox body seats were single post head rests. Those look like they are for something else maybe a Volvo or something but I do not think they are Mustang Recaro head rests.

The real Recaros have those head rests. The later Mustang seats that weren't Recaros, but resembled them and are often mistakenly called Recaros, were single post. However, the above head rests aren't from a PC, but it doesn't matter terribly much.

The early, EARLY Foxes and the slightly later ones can be worlds apart in many ways.

Ummm, yes they are.

Every set of early Fox Recaros I have had have been the dual post type...

As Skye mentioned, the later Fox seats were not Recaros.

Are the tan parts stitched leather covers? Can you see what it underneath it? I need a black one and a blue one but mine are like a soft rubber around the netted area. Those look like they might have been from the trans am recaros or something.

they feel like leather but not sure, they might be viynal? and the seats were ford racaro for sure

I just went and looked at mine. It seems like the colored recaros all had the stiched vinyl or leather around the netted area while the black ones had black rubber around it.

I never seen those types of seats even that color leather in a fox body. Their was a 81 or 82 Cobra for sale a few years back in my neighborhood and it had the netted head rests and I do not recall it being a two post. I think it was actually Greg's car come to think of it. It was black with the green Cobra decal on the hood. Can anyone post a picture? Just curious.

That style Recaro headrest was used in cars other than Mustang, like BMW's.. could be from who knows where.

I like them, that's why I'm buying them. :)

I had recaro's in my '80 rs with caramel interior. Seen pic's , I think it was a cobra, on here of the caramel recaro's.
