I just finished the rear end with the SN95 rear discs, which ebrake cable do I need to use? I read on Matt Bobbit's site that '87 on up can use the '93 cobra cable, but I don't think it mentions earlier cars. Will the SVO one work?
Thanks,
Matt

I was wondering the same thing. I am doing a swap on a 85 and don't know which cable to use either.

Depends on the year of the car you are installing brakes on. The earlier models had non self-adjusting ebrake handle mechanisms and do not require modification like the later style.
For 79 - 82? cars, you need 2 of FRP M2809A ebrake cables and reuse your existing center cable.
For 83? - 92 cars, you need 2 of FRP M2809A ebrake cables and one FRP M2810A center cable and modify your ebrake handle adjuster and the center cable equalizer.

see instructions here starting on page 16 (http://www.fordracingparts.com/download/instructionsheets/FordInstShtM-2300-K.pdf)

Thanks for the link, answers some future questions I might have had when I put the PBR's up front in a couple weeks too!

My e brake handle looks different than the one pictured in the instructions, I'm guessing that's an '87-93. Mine looks simpler, any idea if I have to modify it?
Thanks,
Matt

If yours looks like this, it is the non self-adjusting style. You do not modify it or need to buy the front center cable.
