1985 V6 vert motor mount update

Well, looks like the advise to use the 1994 V6 Vert mounts are working good so far. The mechanic said that he had to do a little wiggling to get them to fit on the X-member and will be putting the motor down soon. The mechanic and I just hope there wont be any issues... like vibration and stuff like that. But if it's a vert mount going on a vert I don't think there'll be an issue.

As luck would have it the 85 Verts water pump went out too. So, since they have the engine up may as well replace the pump.

Vibration shouldn't be any more of an issue with the later mounts than with the earlier ones.

Yeah... I'm sure of that. But he's not! :lol: Think he'd have learned when my mothers Vert was having cooling issues and I bought a heavy duty fan clutch for her car. I tried to install it but a bolt was stuck on good... and so I told her to get him to do it since he'll have the correct tools to do it. Any ways, after I told her to watch the autometer Mech water temp gauge before and after the fanclutch was in stalled she told him of the VERY big difference in cooling... he had more respect for me. :lol:
