AC compressor 86 mustang V6

Did Ford use the same AC compressor on 1986 V6 Mustangs and Stangs the with the 5.0? If I bought a used one from a 5.0 will it work on a 3.8?

AFAIK they won't be the same as I got a V6 A/C compressor from the junkyard...which was the same as my 2.3 4 cylinder compressor. HR930 I believe is the part #. Also some other vehicles got them. But definitely can be found on the older 4 cylinders.

The 5.0s got the Nippondenso 6P148a compressor. A very good piece, BTW.
