A Futura with a small block CHITY entered in Hot Rod mags Pump Gas Drags. All i can say is they picked a light body BUT stuck the cheapest engine to build in it.

Cheap is as cheap does, I guess.

I think if some of these guys had any idea how much front-end weight the
SBF would save them, they might just rethink that decision.

Or maybe they're just idiots... :rolleyes:

i'm sorry but i'm a hard core ford fan and i will never understand a chevy in a ford. me myself i would never have a ford motor in a chevy i guess they can't find any rust free chevy bodys :noes:

That 88 T-bird had a full interior and ran 8.5s, that's awesome. :) Too bad Hot Rod is too dense to know that an 89 is a MN-12 bird. You couldn't get a MN-12 bird in the 8s unless you gutted and backhalved it.

It's not a Chevy so Chevy Rod doesn't really care.

yes it has a chebbie engine,so dont pay attention to that flaw.but here are some pics of it.
