nice coupe. I had a red 80 a long while back, and loved it. should have kept it, but we always say that...

thanks all.

yeah, i'm not sure if it's factory sunroof or not. i haven't checked the vin number decoding on it yet. also i'm not sure about the spoiler either. it was on the car when i picked it up last weekend. it fits pretty well though, but a little short on the ends, lol. but i like though. sunroof dosen't leak. but yeah it seems good shape to restore/mod. i'll start digging onto the vin numbers soon so i can be sure. i need a dash pad though, it's ripped to pieces, and a small 2" crack in the passenger side dash above the glove box. shouldn't be hard to fix though.

the only real damage to the car is were it was hit lightly in the front, and broke the plastic frame behind the headlights, it ran up the middle grill, and never hurt the bumper though.
anyways thanks, glad you like it. been wokring on it all week, and will post pic in the future of the progress.

2.3L! Yay! Have any engine bay pics? Also, if you yank the 2.3L and transmission and want to ship it, I'll buy it if the price is right! I would keep it though. The 2.3L's are fun.

don't have pics of engine bay at the momment. i need the 2.3L, and tranny at this time though due to it being my daily driver. it'll problem take me about a year or so to do the engine/tranny swap. so couldn't sell right now though, lol. but yeah i also love the little 2.3L engines, that can take a beating, and still have a very long life. my last 2.3L i had years ago also an 81 mustang had well over 200000 miles on it, and it ran great 99% of the time. the thing ran great until it was totaled one night. and even then it still started up fine, and ran good. just wasn't driveable though.

but yeah, i need to drive it daily right now. thanks for the offer though. also that would cost alot to ship a 4cyl engine, and tranny.

Yea, probably would cost a lot. It's just cool to see another 2.3L mustang/capri out there running. They're getting scarce. My capri has 219,000 miles on it. Still runs pretty good.

thank's again all.

yeah, it does seem to be very few 2.3L mustangs/capri out there. most around here are 302, or 351w. it's funny sometimes though because it's a little 4-bagger, but when sitting most people don't know. i can't coun't how many people drive by reving there engines, and slowing down to look, lol. i'm like uuummm oooook. but yeah i also like the little 2.3L engines. i've seen theres alot of hp that can be made when modifing them. and of course adding turbo.
i wouldn't mind driving a 2.3L mustang that could pull the front wheels off the ground on a hard launch, lol.
