well the car made it home, but not without drama.I was driving down the highway when the cabin started to fill with smoke, I look in the rear view and see smoke behind me.
I pull over on the shoulder and get out and look under the car to see a WATERFALL
of trans fluid coming out the bell housing and dumping on the exhaust, I start think holy crap I am 3 hours from home on the side of the highway now what!!

I nursed it to red deer where I thought I could buy some fluid and make it the rest of the way home, I pull the dipstick and the fluid is halfway up the tube wwwaaaaayyyyy overfull.
I must have lost the front seal due to pressure . so I made it home and now I have to pull the trans. so do I stay AOD or go c4?

All I have to say is nice.
And stay AOD, when built right they can handle alot of abuse.
I have an AOD built from Lentech and it is a nice beefy unit. The valve body that is in it is setup so I can shut off OD when I wanted to race and when I wanted to cruise just flip OD back on. But now I just race the car and just stayed w/ the AOD b/c I have no reason to switch.
