My cousin found a 88 tbird 5.0 ho 5 speed at the junk yard while he was at work. It looked like a unfinished project. He came and got me an hour later, i was gonna snatch it up....but then we went to were it was and it was flat:confused:. just kinda too bad u know.

I wish they'ld give folks a little more time to buy parts off them if they can't be sold. Even here in Southern Cal they say they let them sit for four weeks but I swear it's less.

Im telling you...where are all those made-in-china knives and forks that they sell at walmart coming from? All the scrap metal is going across the Pacific and they aint waiting for us to 'rescue' those cars.

It must have been a project because '88 had neither a H.O. 5.0L nor a manual transmission.

The only years for a H.O. 5.0L was '91-'93 and 5.0L did not ever get a manual transmission.

hey, I guess we caught it before it left on the trailer. i got the t5....but i need a shifter, possibly flywheel, clutch cable(quadrent),pedal assembly and if theres a plate between the bellhousing and block. maybe the clutch fork too:o. i havnt been out there to pick it up.....im sure they didnt keep everything i told them to.
any help would be swell......thank ya, Nate
