Hello Everyone,

I bought a 79 Cobra project car back in June and I recently discovered this site. I expended most of my funds on the purchase, but I hope to dig into the car very soon so I will probably be a regular here with a bunch of questions. This is my first project so you will have to bear with me. :) I am really glad the Cobra corner is here so I can get some first hand info and swap experiences with some of you.

1979 Cobra
302 ci
Hurst 4 speed.

Motor was rebuilt in 1991 and bored to 306. previous owner put a 2 barrel 500 cfm carb on it, but the car is pretty weak in the performance area. Looking at a roller motor and T-5 so I can drive it without worrying about tearing up the factory drive train.

So far I have picked up a 3 piece wing ($30!) and done a little body work on the passenger side so I will post pics.
