Car Show Sponsors

Have any of you had any experience with car show sponsors? A friend of mine has and he paid an acceptance fee $89, and has lighting, sound system, graphics, wheels, interior, blah, blah, blah...you get the idea. Do any of you have and is it worth it? I would like to keep my 86' GT as close to concourse as possible but am toying with the idea of a sponsor.

If you search Car Show Sponsors you'll find it there. My friend Charlie had his sponsored and he got wheels, graphics, neon lighting, audio system, interior, ect. The sites I've searched say $89. once your approved, one says we'll guarantee $1000. free in improvements to your vehicle.
