why oh why? why would you have to restore a car with less than 100,000 miles on it? my old 86 had 180,000 and was in great condition.

my guess is he has confused the words 'restored' and 'repaired'.

a pile of mis-matched used/new/junkyard/aftermarket parts from various years and models that are assembled and repainted in the same color do not make a 'restored' car.

'restored' is probably THE most mis-used term in the automotive world.
